“The driver didn't understand english, french, italian, spanish or portuguese, so it was very dificult to comunicate. The journey started almost 30 minutes later, because the driver was writing hand tickets for everyone and he was just saying: "change bus". We had to change bus some minutes after the journey start without knowing why... The arrival was also late!”

“We had a terrible experience with the bus trip from Dubrovnik to Split. The two men who were driving the bus were incredibly rude. They abused us when they asked us to pay extra to have our luggage put under the bus; we didn’t have a problem paying extra however they got extremely frustrated with not only us but nearly every person who was getting on and off the bus. It seemed like everything they had to do was ‘too hard’ for them. We then get on the bus and are all sweating and feeling flustered as it was 27 degrees and there was no air con. After two hours on the bus I was feeling quite ill due to how hot it was and I asked them if we could turn the air con on and they said that it had been broken for 6 months. I’m not sure why they would keep a bus in circulation with no air con in this heat. I’ve never wanted to get off a bus any faster. Terrible experience!”

“On an earlier trip, I mistook the time for afternoon instead of morning and so missed the bus. Totally my fault but when I called the number on the ticket to see if I could apply any or all of the money I'd paid for that ticket to a new ticket, I was given a different number to call. I called that number and they gave me the first number. Called that number back and they hung up on me! Then they stopped answering the phone! It was only the in-person staff member at the bus station who finally stepped in to help that saved the situation for me (although, even she couldn't give me an answer to my question).”
