“Bus was clearly in the process of breaking down. They stopped once for 20 min with no explanation. We eventually started again. Stopped 10 min later. Barely had any explanation. Eventually was put on another passing bus. Not sure why we couldn't get more updates. Not sure why we had to keep trying when the bus was clearly fucked. Not sure why we coudln't get some compensation for being forever late. Yep, kinda bad.”

“Overall the trip has been a poor experience. 1) the bus arrived at the final destination (Kotor) over 2 HOURS later than the expected arrival time, took 4 hours in total instead of 2hrs that is scheduled. 2) we bought the tickets online but the driver rejected our tickets as they said they only allow paper tickets. Whereas on the PDF tickets there was no mention whatsoever that paper tickets are required to be presented when boarding the bus. So in the end we have to buy on another tickets. ”

“Split to Dubrovnik is a scenic bus ride, however my 11:15 bus didn’t begin its journey till 1:30. I arrived at 11:00 and asked information which was my platform, they told me that my trip was canceled and that the 11:15 bus never arrives before 12:30. All l could do was wait for the next scheduled Croatia Bus to Dubrovnik. Every Croatia Bus l saw l asked for information, and even when they were going to Dubrovnik they wouldn’t let me board and said that l had to wait for my bus because it had just been delayed and would come soon. This was outrageous frustrating. How can anyone do business this way? I can understand traffic conditions can cause delays, but perhaps if they had to pay part of the money back if the wait exceeds a reasonable delay they would be more accurate with their estimated timetable. In any case everyone seemed very nonchalant about the lack of accountability in this company. The only reason l didn’t rate this experience lower is the natural intoxicating beauty of the Croatian coastline. ”
