“The driver was great this time, but the bus seats were really close to each other so we didnt have much leg space. ”

“Hi, we bought two-way bus tickets with my girlfriend to Dubrovnik-Kotor-Dubrovnik from vollo.net. The departure from Dubrovnik at 7.00 am and return ar 15.55 pm. We got QR-tickets to my e-mail and everything was okey. We saw no mention that the tickets should be printed and went happily to bus station with intetion to show the ticket from my mobile phone. We arrived to bus station and showed our tickets to the bus driver, but for our surprise, he said rudely that ”only paper tickets”. This came as a suprise to us and many other customers. In addition, the tickets could not be printed out in the bus station, nor it was possible to buy new paper tickets. However, after long argument between the customers and bus station staff, one staff person agreed to write the tickets to a paper form for us. However, we had already bought new bus tickets to a transport which was leaving at 8.15 and that money could not be refundes anymore. We decided to go with our original transport since it was supposed to leave earlier, at 7.00 am. However, the clock became already 8 o’clock and the bus hadn’t moved anywhere. The bus was waiting for more people and there were already too much people in the bus, approximately 4-8 people sitting on the floor. We decided to change to the bus which was leaving at 8.15 am. It left on time but was eventually so late in Kotor that we didnt want to use our return ticket which were to a bus leaving at 15.55. Therefore we bought new tickets to a bus which was leaving at 18.00 pm, to have more time to spend in Kotor. Overall, I find it very unprofessional to not accept electronical tickets and especially wonder the fact that there was no mention anywhere in vollo.net nor on the mobile tickets that they should be printed out. In addition, the behaviour of staff was very bad. Eventually we didnt use neither of our tickets and were very unpleasent to the service we had bought. ”

“Positives: the seats were comfortable and relatively spacious for a bus. Negatives: bus timetable is completely off! The schedule says 2 hours, the journey took 5 hours. We had traffic at the border which possibly added an hour but in no way could this route actually take 2 hours. From the border to the destination with little traffic, the time was nearly 2 hours! Staff were extremely unfriendly, actually quite rude in some cases. One guy was argumentative with several customers over luggage for what seemed like little to no reason. One he kept yelling at a girl on the bus about luggage when she had already put her luggage under the bus and was just carrying her backpack. She eventually had to ignore him to get him to stop fighting with her. The staff expected the passengers to understand their language and seemed to get angry when people weren’t immediately following what they said (in the height of summer, most passengers are tourists). Mad panic, disorganization and confusion were the start of the journey. They had 2 busses come in, only 1 labeled with an accurate destination. Staff didn’t answer questions as to which bus to go to clearly until much later on. Some people had seat assignments, most didn’t. Luggage is extra pay and they’ll throw things off if you don’t have the cash, literally throw. Tickets must be printed. In an age of electronic booking, this is ridiculous! If you can book online, e version tickets should be allowed. Finding a last minute place to print on holiday can be a nightmare. I think the toilet on the bus wasn’t working. Most of us used the toilet at the border control. ”
